Community event for the group Les Fruits Défendus at Santropol Roulant
Santropol Roulant is one of my favorite organizations in Montreal. Whenever possible, I love to volunteer for them as a photographer. They often need pictures to document the important work they do in our city. At the core of their programs is Meals on Wheels, a service that provides healthy fresh meals to Montrealers living with a loss of autonomy. It also young volunteers the chance to interact with the city’s elderly. In november 2015 there was a community event for the collective Les Fruits Défendus that facilitates harvesting and distribution of fruits in Montreal from dozens of tree owners, hundreds of harvesting volunteers, and several local food security organizations. Basically, nothing goes to waste !
These are some of the photographs I created to illustrate the work of this dynamic team !
