Meditative Photography: A Pathway to Inner Peace and Creative Expression

Meditative Photo Walks

Meditative photography, also known as therapeutic photography, is a mindfulness practice that involves moving slowly through your surroundings, taking time to observe and photograph what catches your eye using the camera on your smartphone

A form of creative expression, meditative photography offers a simple and intuitive way to connect your inner self to the external world. If practiced regularly, alone or with a group, it may offer you a new pathway to better health, mental well-being and self discovery.

Tatiana, after enduring several personal tragedies a few years ago, began daily meditative photo walks to cope with her trauma. She soon discovered that these slow, purposeful walks were transformative, greatly enhancing her mental and overall well-being. This approach to photography offered her a therapeutic perspective that was vastly different from the one she had learned while studying journalism and documentary photography.

This versatile practice can be adapted to nearly any environment, encouraging participants to use their smartphones to capture images while learning to observe the world with fresh eyes. It invites you to notice the details often overlooked in the rush of everyday life.

Join Tatiana and explore the transformative power of meditative photo walks, and see how this simple yet profound practice can bring a new sense of calm and clarity to your life.

I will be providing both of these photo walks in Montreal and Merida. Sign up below to receive updates as to when these photo walks will be available.
