“From war photography to meditative photo walks. It’s been a journey.”

About Tatiana

I am a seasoned photographer, journalist, photo editor, instructor and intercultural facilitator with a deep passion for empowering local communities through photography, social media and communication focused projects. With extensive experience covering stories across the globe, I have honed my craft in diverse environments.
Beginning my career at a young age as a war photographer and journalist in the Middle East, I have captured the essence of people and cultures worldwide. My work has been featured in prestigious publications such as Le Point, L’Express, Le Nouvel Observateur, L’Actualité, Elle, Newsweek, and Time magazine. As the founder and owner of the photo agency Megapress.ca, I have produced thousands of images for corporations, advertising companies, educational institutions, and governmental agencies.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in International Cooperation and Journalism from the University of Montreal and an MA in Media, Peace, and Conflict Studies from the UN-mandated University for Peace in Costa Rica. Additionally, I am studying to obtain a new university certificate focused on the implementation of artificial intelligence in the workplace.

My favorite subjects include environmental portraiture, street photography, documentary photography, and meditative photography. Fluent in English, French, Russian, and Arabic, with ongoing studies in Spanish, I am able to deeply immerse myself in the cultures and social causes I explore, both in familiar settings and off the beaten path.

PHOTOGRAPHY AS A WAY OF LIFE

Photography has been at the very core of my being as far back as I can remember. As a source of inspiration, as an outlet, as therapy, as a means of connecting with others, and as a passion that has driven my career. It is not simply something I do, it’s part of who I am.
